The warmer weather was so refreshing, Hollystar felt like she could easily lose herself just wandering around the forest and taking in all the sights, scents and sounds of springtime. Everything seemed so brand-new, like it had never existed before this current season, even though Hollystar knew full well that certain flowers and trees had been blossoming long before even she was born. The morning dew had long since dissipated, and the sun had shone itself only sporadically during the day -- Applecloud didn't mind the weather shifts, although sunny days were her favorite.
As it was, it was too late in the day for the sun's rays to bestow much warmth anyway. Hollystar could savor any part of the day, assuming she'd had sufficient sleep. This evening found her on a trek across RiverClan territory in search of a particular Fourtree's.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - YOUR OBJECTIVE A normal gathering should be attempted, but I also promised a good old-fashioned fight, so let's get some dissent! RC will probably be the main source of antagonism, but SC and TC will do stupid things as TC feels threatened and SC feels better than everybody else. WC is a bit of a moderator - the 'good' guy, as it were - but they won't take accusations lying down, and definitely don't expect them to respond to insincere help against the wolves well. Except for WindClan, the wolves and weather should be treated mostly as a non-issue by the rest of the Clans.
Posting order does not matter, and you may double-post only if you have a large amount of characters. While I'd like the first four posters to RP characters from each of the four Clans arriving in order, it's not necessary at all. No deadline on the thread; it's over when it's over. Have fun!

Handwrittensignature led Shadowclan to the clearing next. The black she-cat strode with the confidence only a leader could muster. She approached Hollystar. The deputy dipped her head, "Hello, Hollystar, how is Riverclan prey?" She asked formally.

A large, white tom padded into fourtrees, followed by a group of cats carrying ThunderClan scent. The warmth had payed off well with ThunderClan, quite noticeable in their bodies. They were all well fed and happy, talking in groups as they winded their way over roots and branches. Illogicalstar nodded to Handwrittensignature and Hollystar, then hopped up onto his perch on the trees, looking over the gathering cats. He turned to Hollystar, waiting for a chance to speak. Of course, the leader of RiverClan was already occupied, so he turned to watch all his cats gather in the large clearing.

A seal point she-cat padded into the clearing, followed by her leader, which carried Riverclan scent. Of course she held her head high because well, she was the deputy at that. Anacrusistone's deep green gaze flickered in every direction, taking in every cat that was already there. So far it looked like it was only Thunderclan, so Riverclan looked a bit early, but the clan of course didn't care about that. Anacrusistone sat herself down under Fourtrees, and some cats followed in suit. Her gaze then rose upward as she glanced up at the leaders that were already there, well there was only one standing on the stone, which was the Riverclan leader Hollystar. The deputy quickly dipped her head toward her leader, even though she probably didn't see it, but it was respectful either way.

Azaleapaw came in after her leader. She looked around the clearing in amazement. Being only six moons old, this was the she-cat's first gathering and she was amazed at the size of the clans combined, and this was not everyone! She saw a group of apprentices and padded over to them.

Homecomingdance followed Illogicalstar and sat on a root that was sticking out from the ground that sat perfectly under the branch her leader was sitting on. She held her head high and averted her attention of to Anacrusistone. "Hello." she greeted the other deputy warmly. Although the other she-cat was a RiverClanner, the ThunderClan Deputy could care less as long as she was nice.
Radiospeaker came in first for WindClan, but kept his head low to indicate he was not in control and that it was his leader's job. The brown and white tabby Tom cleared his throat, "WindClan has arrived." from what he could see, they were the last to arrive. Great.

Vitalmedicine padded in behind Radiospeaker, giving him a wide berth. Nothing scared her except for medicine cats. Creepo, Vit thought in disgust, glaring at him. Seeing no need to announce WindClan's arrival, as it was rather obvious and Radiospeaker had already done so, Vit took her place underneath the Highrock. Vitalmedicine greeted the leaders with curt and annoyed nods. Why the hell did they have to be social during these things? Why couldn't only the leaders show up? There was no freaking need for anyone but the leaders and deputies to be here.

Radiospeaker took his spot under the root Vitalmedicine. "Donmt be an idiot. Be happy to be where you are." he gave a small growl at Vitalmedicine. He had started to try to stand up to the Deputy. He decided he was not going to be frightened by her.
Homecomingdance watched the other Deputy take her place and narrowed her blue gaze. What was her problem? Sometimes she hated cats that were like that. They were so rude and had no bother for other's feelings. That really got under her fur. It wasn't fair to be so nice and be treated so badly by cats like that.

[WindClan's role in this is just like Stoicstar XD]
Stoicstar padded into the gathering, a bit annoyed that his Clan had not waited for him, but, being Stoicstar, didn't let it bother him too much and just rolled with it. He was good at that. He glanced around. So they were the last to arrive. Ahh, well. "Hello, Hollystar, Handwrittensignature," he greeted the two she-cats as he padded up to them, dipping his head upon saying each name.
Rationedtime padded up to the little congregation. "Greetings, Hollystar, Handwrittensignature, Stoicstar," she payed a bit more attention to Stoicstar as out of all of them he was the most laid-back, and she wasn't in the mood to gauge and make sure there were no double-meanings in the she-cats' answers to her questions. Toms were so much simpler. "How's the prey running?" she asked the WindClan leader.
"Fast." Stoicstar answered, a grin revealing his sharp white teeth.

"Why should I freaking care," Vitalmedicine snarled with an angry glare at Radiospeaker. "Maybe you should start minding your own business." Ugh...Medicine Cats seriously were creepy...and annoying...and boring...and scary. Noticing Homecomingdance's irritated look, Vit turned onto the cat with a scowl. "My personality is nothing on you," she snarled with a huff.

Radiospeaker narrowed his gaze, not pleased with her behavior. That urked him terribly. "You are my business." he growled harshly back. But then remembered he was the Medicine Cat. He was a cat to look to in a troubled time. And here he was, fighting at a gathering. "Just stay out of trouble. You are now my responsibility." and he just made a promise that he would have to keep. The brown tabby medicine cat huffed at the other cat, not happy with her. Somehow he had to unlock the sweet and loving she-cat that he knew was inside. Somehow...

[[Missed so much >.<]]
Anacrusistone heard a greeting behind her and turned around to see Homecomingdance, the Thunderclan Deputy she believed. The seal point dipped her head to the fellow cat. "Hello." The she-cat greeted back then watched as the she-cat walked off. Her dark green gaze softened as she watched other cats arrive, but so far it didn't seem everyone was here yet, but she knew they could wait, but sadly for this she-cat she was impatient and slowly began to tap her chocolate brown tail on the ground.

Mountainstar, the first time getting furious at his deputy and probably ever, padded in front of Handwrittensignature. "Wow wow wow, I'm not sic, or dying, or anything. Please don't just burst ahead like that." he said in a quiet voice. He knew deputies usually took the lead when leaders were taking a bit, but he was just appointed leader, and he wanted to lead his clan the first time. He knew he probably sounded like a whining baby, but really. "We don't need to be first to the gathering, now do we?" he slowly walked ahead, and shook his head to everyone.
---------------------------------------
Longrun carelessly padded in the back of the RiverClan group, not really caring if people stared at her because she was late. She took her spot at the near front of the RiverClan group-ish thing, still forming, and stared up at the leaders. "Hey." she mewed casually, looking around the big gathering. Everyone was making conversation, except for her. Oh well. She would just wait till someone came to her.

Handwrittensignature dipped her head to her leader. "My apologies," she said softly, as though not to be overheard. She lessened her stride and fell behind, then picked up again, as if she was anxious to get to the gathering, hoping to cover for her pulling ahead.
The deputy then went to the spot where the deputies sit throughout the meeting of the clans. She dipped her head to some of the more known clan cats and then took her seat, once again pulling her ploy, in case anyone was still watching. Although she doubted it, the she-cat just wanted to put her leader's mind at rest, no matter how it may look upon her. Oh well, the cat would just have to cross that stone when it came to her.

Rationedtime noticed a she-cat sitting all alone. Ahh, it was one of her fellow medicine cats. Odds were that this Longrun would remember her name as well, as she was a medicine cat and, consequently, known to ignore boundaries and borrow herbs from RiverClan as come of the best grew well by the river. The she-cat padded up to Longrun, her eyes friendly. "Hello, Longrun. How's the prey running in RiverClan? Or, uh, swimming, rather." She said, automatically wrinkling her nose. She had a certain disdain for fish. Why? She couldn't say. She just hated the stinking little swimmers.

Finechina padded into the gathering after Stoicstar, her amber eyes flickering across Fourtrees as she studied the other clans calmly. She flicked an ear as she heard Radiospeaker announce that Windclan had arrived, but all the clans already knew that. They didn't lack a sense of smell, but Finechina preferred to keep the thoughts about others to herself. It would be quite rude to voice all the thoughts any cat had about another cat.
Hypethralvision's ears twitched as he caught snippets of conversation here and there, but he didn't really join in any of them yet. Perhaps later. He had considered going up to some of the leaders, but they seemed preoccupied with the other clan leaders so he didn't want to interrupt them. The gathering would start soon enough anyhow, as Windclan had just arrived. Radiospeaker didn't seem very pleased about being the last ones to arrive though. But then again, who would?

Longrun flipped her head over to Rationtime, smiling a bit. "Well, hello." she replied. The cream she-cat tried to send a message to the fellow medicine cat by staring at the leaders quietly, but she knew one cat wouldn't die down the chat. So, there Longrun was, attempting to throw a message at the other cats, but failing badly. She finally quit it, and just decided to wait or make some more conversation. Trying seemed too dumb now that the chat was just getting louder and louder, and she was sitting there like an idiot, waiting.
Mountainstar watched the crowd take, making his way up the ancient rock of fourtrees, dead center of the gathering area. The cats were mixed in a bunch, s it was impossible to point out ShadowClan and tell them to quiet down. He turned to the other leaders, saying in a proud and smooth voice, "Shall we start this gathering?" He knew he was ready to start; it was taking a little bit too long at the moment, so long it was boring. As he waited for a reply, Mountainstar scanned the crowd; there was nothing interesting. Just some cats talking this and that, meeting their new allies.

Rationedtime was quite adept at picking up the smallest of hints, as some toms who were badly injured wouldn't wish to 'stoop low' and ask for herbs. As if they would lose their "Big Tough Warrior Card" if they did. Also, if a cat was in pain she had to pick up on the smallest of signs, the slight fidgeting of the feet, the faint twitch of the tail, stuff like that. Therefore she had no trouble picking up on Longrun's fairly inept hint, and realized that the she-cat probably had no desire to have to quiet down her fellow medicine cats. "We should probably stop talking, I think we're getting ready to start," Rationedtime said, looking at Longrun when she said it so the cream cat, so she knew the Thunderclanner had taken the hint.
Stoicstar glanced over at the new leader nonchalantly. He cut him some slack as he remembered his first Gathering as leader, but he did wish he wouldn't rush things so. "I don't see the rush, let them socialize they haven't seen their friends from other Clans in a long time, save the occasional tense passing of two border patrols. Give them a bit longer and then I'd be happy to let you make the announcement to start the meeting." he purposely decided to give the honor to Mountainstar, remembering how much he had wished to... and how long it took the other leaders to let him. Ahh, well, it wasn't their fault. It didn't matter that much anymore... yet it mattered a whole lot in the moment. He remembered his first time standing up on the rock as leader... it was truly an awe-inspiring moment. One that was unforgettable.

The short, pale form of a nimble figure slipped into the clearing on light paws hoping she wouldn't get noticed. An apologetic smile rested upon the Windclan Medicine Cat Apprentice as she took her spot at the back hoping no one would notice her constant lateness; she never seemed to be able to get anywhere on time. The albino flicked the stump of her tail, redish pink eyes gleaming as she looked up in admiration to the leaders. Dipping her head, hoping that she wouldn't be caught up in anything to serious, Ribbonpaw simply took her spot and waited for the controversy.

Rationedtime, ever the social Medicine Cat, took sight of Ribbonpaw, the new WindClan Medicine Cat Apprentice. She had made it a habit of hers to always greet the apprentices, as she remembered how good it felt to be recognized by one of the other Medicine Cats.
Excusing herself from the little congregation of healers, she padded up to Ribbonpaw, careful to keep her expression friendly as she could sense the little albino's uneasiness. "Hello. Ribbonpaw, isn't it?" she asked, sitting beside the apprentice. "I'm Rationedtime, the ThunderClan Medicine Cat. You're the new WindClan Medicine Cat Apprentice, am I correct?" of course she was, the white cat smelled of the Moorlands and of herbs, but she wanted to give her the chance to respond and contribute to the conversation.
