APPEARANCE:
Handwrittensignature is a small, black tabby she-cat. She has oversized, sky blue eyes and a medium sized build. Her ears are slightly larger than normal, as is her tail, which always seems to be in motion. Handwrittensignature has a slight deafness in her oversized left ear. She although she has large claws, they do not hinder her movements, but instead help her in battle. Handwrittensignature is a cat born, bred and raised in Shadowclan, with an appearance to prove it.

PERSONALITY:
If Handwrittensignature inherited anything from her mother, it would be her personality. Just as her mother, Handwrittensignature has a large pride that she would only damage for her leader and her kin, sometimes only the latter. She does not like to be told she was wrong, even if it is true. She rarely changes a decision, except in extreme cases.
Handwrittensignature is not afraid to take a hit for her clan. As proven various times, she would make herself seem foolish to save her leader. She would do anything for Shadowclan, and not ask anything in return.
The Shadowclan deputy believes family to be precious. She pushes littermates together often, but regrets how little she spends with her family. She finds that without family, Shadowclan would be nothing.

HISTORY:
Handwrittenkit was born on a sunny fall day while her mother was on a walk. Fortunately, the queen was farmiliar with herbs and was able to deliver the kits herself until a warrior found her and brought the medicine cat. The queen, Otterwhisker, had four kits, the first of which was stillborn. She named them Quailkit, Ghostkit, and Handwrittenkit. The stillborn kit was named Racingkit. Otterwhisker loved the kits dearly, and never wanted harm to come to them, which is why they were never told about Racingkit. Or at least, Otterwhisker never planned on talking them.
On her apprentice's vigil, Handwrittenpaw was heading to the warrior's den to tell her mother goodnight when she stopped short, hearing voices. Straining, she heard her mother talking to one of her friends about a kit named Otterkit. Continuing to listen, Handwrittenpaw leaner about her brother, not the whole story, just enough to know that he was once was one of her littermates and that he died.
Handwrittenpaw ran to the camp entrance and started crying. She did not know how long she cried, the only thing she knew, was that she then started talking to Racingpaw, even giving him an apprentice ceremony, under the leader Handwrittenstar. She never told anyone about her brother, but gave him his warrior ceremony when the time came, naming him Racingstride when she became Handwrittensignature.
During a family hunting trip, Otterwhisker ran off, chasing a squirrel. Handwrittensignature heard a scream and ran to her mother's aid, littermates in pursuit. Once they got there, it was too late for the warriors to save Otterwhisker from the badger that had attacked her. They chased the badger off, but Otterwhisker was gravely injured. Her last words, were those to her daughter, a simple sentence saying, "You were always destined for greatness." Otterwhisker died a peaceful death, and a few moons later, Handwrittensignature became the Shadowclan deputy.
