The white tom looked Homecomingdance right in the eyes, thinking for a moment. "I am doing fine, thank you." The always serious tom was just like normal- boring. He didn't really have any friends because of this. It was like a horrible curse cast on the ThunderClan leader so he would never learn to have fun, never take risks, never do anything but be serious. But oh, how he hated it, how he hated being boring. But he just never learned how to have fun, always following the rules and doing what he was told. |

[try to have a 100 word post, or as close as you can. it's part of the rules, but don't worry. I only figured that out a few hours ago xP There's a word count below the posting box.]
Illogicalstar shook his head, breaking himself out of his thoughts. "Yes, sorry." He mewed, straightening himself up again. "How is the freshkill pile? Do we need to go hunting?" He asked the deputy. Illogicalstar was quite nervous about becoming leader, always trying to make sure everything was okay. "Do you know if the borders need setting again?" The leader was obviously a nervous wreck. |

Homecoming dance gave him a sympathetic smile before purring slightly. "Illogicalstar; everything is fine. We checked the border not too long ago and a hunting patrol went out this morning." she explained.
"Relax. This is why you were made Deputy in the first place. This is why you became leader. Because you know how to do it, you're just overreacting so it triggers your mind into thinking something is going to go wrong." the calico reassured him.
He was a good leader and she was proud to be worki under him and she couldn't wait to become leader herself. But she knew she would Probally be a wreck inside even though she was telling Illogicalstar not to worry. |

Illogicalstar sighed. "I guess you're right. Good thing I chose you as my deputy." The tom mewed, sitting down. Looking into her eyes, the leader noticed her eyes for the first time, a glittering forest green. He shook his head again, snapping out of his trance. "I'm sorry. I'm just so nervous, leading this clan is going to take a toll on me. It's a huge step up from deputy." He let out a rare purr and smile, yellow eyes glinting. "You'll do great once I.. I..." You idiot. He felt like hitting himself. |

A young apprentice strode through the camp. She did not talk much, more listened to others. She was passing the deputy and leader when she heard Illogicalsyar's comment. The she-cat almost started crying! She strode to the fresh-kill pile and grabbed two squirrels. She returned to the group and placed the squirrels in front of the pair. She smiled kindly.

Homecomingdance looked straight back into his Yellow eyes, heard him purr and she returned it quickly. She averted his green gaze to his smile which she also returned quite quickly. "Once you what?" she meowed quietly.
But when the apprentice came up she saw the tears and backed away, stumbling slightly other paws. She tried to act normal so she lay Down, setting her head on her paws. When she came back, she gently touched the tip of the she-cat's shoulder silly with her white tail-tip.

Homecomingdance frowned deeply at the fresh kill before sliding it back over to Azaleapaw. "Not hungry." she muttered before standing up and padding over to the warrior's den.
She curled up in her nest, trying hard not to freak out. She had just looked into the eyes of the most powerful cat in the Clan. You're powerful, too! she reminded herself before setting her head down. Sometimes she still felt like she was a warrior and not the next in line for leader.
This was the most thinking she had done about this Inher entire life. She never really had interest in a mate before. There was no one to please her. But now there was.

Illogicalstar sighed. "Once I die." He mewed, trying to shrug it off. The white leader shook his head at the apprentice. "Me neither. If you're hungry though, dig in. Freshkill is running great, better then most green-leafs." He mewed, smiling a bit to himself. "Everything is running smoothly, so just sit back, relax, and enjoy the weather! It won't be around forever, you know." Illogicalstar looked at Homecomingdance, waiting for a reply from the calico deputy.

Azaleapaw nodded and grabbed the fresh-kill. She placed it back on the pile and sighed. They shouldn't think about things like that, the white apprentice thought to herself and she headed away from the leader and deputy, Illogicalstar and Homecomingdance. They seemed like a good pair to take Thunderclan to its full potential. Azaleapaw could only hope to become like that once she became a warrior.
Azaleapaw went too her den and laid down in the nest she had claimed as hers. She lay in it for a while, tossing and turning until she finally decided she could not sleep. The apprentice went back outside and laid down in the sun.

Hypethralvision awoke from his sleep, blinking his eyes as he tried to get rid of that sleepy feeling that always overtook him in the morning, and tried to force him to go back to sleep. His sharp green eyes Homecomingdance curled up in her nest, and she seemed a bit... off. Hypethralvision made sure to make some noise as he gave his ruffled pelt a few quick licks, and got up so the deputy would realize that he was here. "Hey Homecomingdance." he mewed in greeting as he padded closer to her, smiling slightly. "Are you alright Homecomingdance? You seem a bit off." he said, using the word that he had thought of a few heartbeats before. |

The calico sat back and stiffened up quickly when Illogicalstar said that. "Don't think about that." Homecomingdance docked her head to the side and stared hard at Illogicalstar. "What are you thinking right now?" it bothered her thatso many things were going through her mind and he could possibly be thinking the total opposite of what she was thinking. What the heck? He could hate her! And here she is, sitting here, like an idiot, mulling over him. She was such an idiot. Who did she think she was? |

Illogicalstar shook his head, freeing him from the thought of death. The white leader was actually thinking of a lot of things- most of it he sure wouldn't want to discuss, especially with her. When she asked what he was thinking about, he thought some more, trying to find something to tell the deputy. "What I'm really, truely thinking?" He asked, looking her straight in the eyes. |

No lying." she lifted a white paw to her muzzle and sniffed is noncholantly before giving it a quick lick. She lifted her white muzzle into the air to face Illogicalstar, orange nose twitching with curiosity. She didn't want to push him but she wanted so badly to know what would happen in the future. Oh god, she wouldn't live if she made a complete fool of herself. |

The she-cat let out a deep breath and continued talking, "Illogicalstar, don't freak out, don't feel uncomfortable, don't reject my words. Because I am just speaking these words. It is whether or not you believe them to look into my heart. And I will stand by my words no matter what. I will stand by that I really like you. And even if I don't like you in 10 moons, I will look back and admit that I really did like you." |
